1. 認讀200個字左右，精讀課文16篇。
2. 學會打招呼、告別、感謝等問候和介紹。
3. 會表達數字、對不起、姓名、家人、顔色、校服、動物、水果和蔬菜、文具、家庭和房間等。
​4. 中文日常用語的簡單提問並回答。

5. 了解基礎的中國的文化習俗和常識。

With 2-3 lessons per week, the students listen the instructions and do homework can complete this level during 1-1.5 year, and it also depends on students' level and ability：

1. Able to recognize about 200 characters, read 16 lessons.

2. Able to express the greetings, goodbys, gratitude and introductions.

3. Able to express numbers, sorry, name and last name, families members, colors, school uniform, animals, fruits, vegetables, stationery, home and rooms.

4. Able to ask and response daily simple conversations. 

5. Learn about basic Chinese culture and knowledge.
